My very first book that I opened about Chinese Medicine is called The Web That Has No Weaver written by Ted Kaptchuck. Up until that point in time, my life as I knew it had become a distant memory. I was young and life had slipped out from under my feet and I was left in a dark place where no one believed what I was saying about what my body was doing.
Fast forward many years, I graduated from Chinese Medical School and opened a practice with my husband who graduated with me. I continued my doctoral studies in the area of my main interest, Interstitial Cystitis, as we practiced and over time we developed our own merged method of treatment combining Chinese Medicine, Western Medicine and Western Alternative Medicine.
If you delve more into the world of Chinese medicine, it will change how you look at your body and your health. We highly recommend the book above as a starter. You are welcomed to follow us on our social networks and our blogs here and icama.org. It is based on our combined methodology that ultimately we began to create our BOMASENSE brand which helped us help our patients get better more fluidly with far less flaring during treatment.
